Westwood
St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church

From the street it looks like a modern building in a neighborhood full of modern buildings. Then you walk in and it opens up: a soaring, light-filled nave with the altar at the far end and a room clearly designed to make you look up.
Half of the people on our tour were Bruins, half were locals who had driven past it for years and never gone inside. That is the best part of these tours — you finally walk into the church you have been ignoring. We finished with tacos on Gayley.
